The Star of Flowers
Looking at my folders of flowers I bought, I wondered where would the flowers go when they die. Wanted to create an imaginary world for them. Inspiring phrases, lyrics, personal writings and photographs were used inside the book.
꽃들의 별
꽃을 사서 시들면 바로 버리기 마련인데, 어느 날 꽃을 버리기 전에 작별인사를 해줘야 겠다는 생각이 들었다. 어떻게 보면 잠시나마 생을 나의 곁에서 머물다가 간 소중한 생명인데, 그저 버려질 순 없다 생각하여 꽃들의 사후세계를 만들어주고자 했다.
